I think i said this before here, i really want DPC to already lock me out and let me focus on 1 side girl lol
Like he did with main girls.

But i think he is doing this because at the end of season 3, we'll get final choice who we wanna focus on like at the end of S2.
Season 4 will be all about that ending with the chosen girl

Quinn has path. Broccoli is potential gf, i mean the whole broccoli stuff is this. (Lily with rolling the same and maybe Rio with the dating, but she isnt a sure call right now.)

Quinn as "antagonist" (what was called by others here many times) should have key involments in the main canon storyline.
-taking out naked mc on collage to get caught by Balla
-giving hard list to Maya
-taking Jojo in hots to cause problem through Tommy to diks
-Sage... i think i dont have to say anything
-Jill, okay, i cant recall anything important between Jill and Quinn. the best was come to my mind is unimportant (Quinn is the reason why are the hots at prep party where mc set up a little fire, so Jill's pianino was in danger by water. but it hasnt effect on mc and Jill relationship.)
-extra, Quinn started the drug war with vinny who stole the dik laptop and almost shoot down mc

"and will require either a break from that path or an ending."
i dont understand this part. if you mean, she need chance to like your mc or dont like your mc, than Quinn has this choosing.

so, if i dont misunderstand something your points make Quinn to a main girl.

if you remove her
-mc has nothing to do with Balla.
-Maya hasnt that "strong" or "deep" relation with mc (if you didnt duck with Maya (or Jojo) than Maya (or Jojo) will reject you at libary. but you duck with Maya because of the list from Quinn)
-Jojo would live in a dorm room with her new roommate (if with Maya, than they break up because Patrick. if not with Maya, than they break up, because they are "distance") + less party with diks, so distance with mc too.
-Sage... still not need anything to say
-Jill, yes, Quinn is removable for Jill path.
extra... drug story isnt working without drug bitch.
I edited my original post for (hopefully) clarity. I mean both Main Girls and Side Girls are LIs because they have a path and are (at least potential) girlfriends. This means I include Quinn as an LI. Quinn is not a MG though (although in any other game, I'd probably call her one). She's as close as you get here, but she isn't an MG - and yes, it comes down to semantics and game mechanics, where she doesn't have a dedicated path in game terms (is part of the "others" path), doesn't have relationship points, is specifically outside the list of 5 MGs DPC has stated, etc.

Quinn is the most prominent girl in the story outside of the 5 MGs, but she isn't intertwined in the canon story like the MGs are. If you're not on Quinn's path, she isn't as present in the story as the MGs are - still a lot more so that any other SG when you're not on their path, but a level below the MGs. And if you are on Quinn's path, you're still spending a lot of time with and attention on the actual MGs, to a level not comparable to Quinn when off her path. All of this bit is irrelevent in the "is Quinn MG?" discussion though because in this game being an MG is a set thing as noted in my first paragraph.

If you really want to go down the "6th Main Girl" discussion route, and of course I say this with tongue firmly in cheek, then Derek is more MG than Quinn. Derek has relationship points, is integral to the canon story, and is one of the three options for Ep4 when you need somewhere new to stay.

TLDR: Derek is the 6th MG.

Quinn may not be super critical to the entire story, but at least early on she's very important as an instigator. She's recruiting girls for the restaurant, which is where the "free tuition" rumor originates from. Maya pursues this fervently, and Quinn is actively teasing her with a vague confirmation, as well as purposefully giving her a more difficult scavenger hunt. But after that, she does slowly fade into relative unimportance.

Relative unimportance??? She may have very well gotten Riona FUCKING KIDNAPPED, I don't think that's happening anytime soon.

By the way, here is what Guszti242 said:
There is only going to be 14-16 episodes, as mentioned by the DEV.
He doesn't want to make too many, because there is no point to do so. I love all the girls, I can't choose. Even if you take into count that girl in a yoga mask, who flirted with me at the halloween-party, for fuck's sake. I know how to close that girl.

[Yeah, I don't really get it either]

To the main story. Quinn's feud with Vinny is a B story, which until now has just been some low stakes bullshit. So yes, "relative unimportance" was not used incorrectly.

Yes, I have a feeling that unless DPC has a stroke that's gonna change in ep 11
Here's the thing though. I don't want this stupid side story to overtake the main focus. Like yes, getting Rio back demands top priority, but it would likely be just at the start of Episode 11. But once she's back, I don't want to dwell more on getting revenge on that cunt Vinny, or helping Quinn get out of this mess, or whatever shit that drags the mood down in an uninteresting way.

Yeah, Swigitty swooty all the way m8
(Ofc you have a point. It's just that I personally find this story more interesting than Maya's predicament. Of course who knows where that's gonna lead. Who knows who Priscilla is? Maybe it's Madame)

In a bunch of AVNs I played in the beginning, there were a lot of the typical bullshit "fuck every girl in a 10 mile radius" stories that inexplicably had some dumb crime element grafted on. They never really felt organic, especially when the rest of the game was just lighthearted fare. Now with something like Acting Lessons or Being a DIK, it's fairly integrated well enough I guess, but it isn't interesting in the slightest, but at least with AL it was used for a dark turn in the story. Maybe Episode 11 will change my mind, but for now all I care about is getting Rio back safe and sound, and that's it.

Wrong. Without the drugs plot, Riona, Lily & Vinny have no role in the story. The canon events of Ep5 ( the HOTs being present at the prep party to gain more money and the trashing of the DIKs mansion because the DIKs were looking for the HOTs) don't happen. The plot of rebuilding the DIK mansion doesn't happen. The cliffhanger of the last episode doesn't happen. A lot of the "canon events" are direct or indirect consequences of the drug storyline.

I didn't say it had no impact or was totally disconnected, but the drug stuff is undeniably a side thing. Growing more prominent, yes, but it isn't like Vinny will suddenly get in the way of solving Maya's loan problem. I doubt it'll happen, but there's a possibility he's the mastermind behind the cameras/Cathy Cluck/flyers, and turns everyone against MC like in Bully. It wouldn't exactly stem from the drugs story though, especially since MC is uninvolved when not on the Quinn path.

Turns out the real culprit in trashing the mansion, the Cathy Cluck, forcing Cafeteria Girl in putting the pics was MC all along. YOU are the real villain of this story!!!
